It goes like this: you’ve invited some friends to a dinner party or maybe something bigger, a christening, or a big birthday bash, but you’re run off your feet or maybe you aren’t all that confident a cook. You’ve looked up a few recipes or you’ve considered your usual standbys but now the stress is taking the fun out of it for you and you wish you’d never issued the invitations. Don’t despair.

Food doesn’t have to be boring, nor fancy or complicated. But it does need to hit the spot and that means the freshest ingredients combined with skill and flare. My food is an eclectic mix of the traditional and the unusual, drawn from a wide variety of the world’s cuisines and my own imagination.
